Beyond 750 mL/day, the body exhales the excess. Physical-chemistry pharmacokinetics explained.

Dissolved molecular hydrogen has a plasma half-life of about 6 minutes (Aoki 2012, Shimouchi 2009). Tissue half-life ~20 min (skeletal muscle, measured by in vivo H₂ microelectrode).

That means a 250 mL bolus of HRW at 9,000 PPB reaches its plasma peak in ~10 min, then exponential decay. Beyond 30 min, the plasma concentration returns to endogenous baseline (~0.5 ppb produced by the colonic microbiota).

So multiplying the dose does NOT increase the duration of tissue exposure — it only increases the absolute peak. And the absolute peak plateaus at the gas solubility (1.6 mg/L at 22°C, 1 atm). Beyond that, the body exhales it through the alveolar capillaries.
