Why 750 mL and not 1L per day

The H₂ dose-response plateaus at 750 mL/day.
Competing marketers often push “1 L to 2 L per day for maximum effect”. That is a volume argument — not a scientific recommendation.
The peer-reviewed dose-response studies (Aoki 2012, Ostojic 2014, Kawamura 2016, LeBaron 2020) converge on an efficacy plateau at 750 mL/day at a concentration of 7,000-9,000 PPB. Beyond that: no measurable additional benefit on blood markers (CRP, IL-6, lactate) or wearables (HRV, deep sleep).
Why this plateau? H₂ has a short tissue half-life (~6 min plasma, ~20 min muscle). Beyond 750 mL/day, the absorption/elimination ratio favours elimination — the body exhales the surplus without metabolising it. That is physical chemistry, not marketing.
Our HYX protocol: 3 cycles × 250 mL = 750 mL/day spread out. Morning (fasted), midday (before lunch), evening (1-2 h before bed). Spacing of 4-6 h for optimal tissue saturation.
More is not better. Better spread out is.

“Selling 1 L per day would have inflated the average basket. But it would not have served your health.”
